-- For 1 inch or less or special adapters, if the stock studs are longer than the adapters, and the wheels do not have hollow spot in them, you may need to grind, or cut your existing lugs if you don't choose to purchase shorter studs.
-- For 2 inches or more or special adapters, if the stock studs are shorter to hold the spacer safely, you need to exchange to small size adapters or purchase longer studs yourself.
-- For special vehicles, maybe the studs of adapters are shorter to hold the wheel.
