The Revolution Easel
- One arm model. Invented, patented, and hand-crafted in the USA by the inventor. Made of poplar wood with a polyurethane finish, and hand-waxed. Each item has been tested before being shipped. This is a detachable easel that will accommodate up to a 20" tall canvas in this table-top model. Convert ordinary easel stands and camera tripods into a rotating easel. The unit rotates 360 degrees in either direction. The easel also has the ability to grab and secure a canvas stretcher from behind  so all four edges can be painted without obstruction. Enjoy the luxury of easily positioning your canvas into the desired position for an easier and less messy painting experience. The tripod adapter allows the attributes of  an ordinary camera tripod to be incorporated into the easel functions - such as height adjustment, tilt, and swivel capabilities. This easel is lightweight and sturdy for a unit this size. Durable and made with easily found replacement parts. This model can hold
up to a 20"x 24"canvas.
The rotating arm with the sliding bar clamps weigh 1lb. 4 oz.. The table-top easel stand itself weighs 1lb. 4 oz. The clamping unit to attach to the easel is 8 oz. The adapter for the camera tripod is 2 oz. Thus, the weight to clamp it onto an easel is1lb 11oz.To clamp it onto a camera tripod 1lb. 5 oz. This does not come with a camera tripod. You attach the adapter to the camera mount - usually a quick release plate with a 1/4 inch screw and guide nipple. This mimics a camera. This adapter then attaches to the rotating arm and is secured with the included hardware.
