    Description

    Up for sale is this Vintage Ceramic Royal Copley Pigtail Girl Head Vase or Wall Pocket.  Royal Copley produced this wonderful ceramic wall pocket or head vase in the 1940’s. It was called the PIGTAIL GIRL, and depicts the head of a young lady in pigtails with pink bows, with an aqua blue smocked neckline and cap sleeves and matching aqua blue hat or bonnet.  There is a hole on the back for hanging on a wall but is also made to sit on a shelf making it very versatile piece. Raised Royal Copley Mark on back.  It measures approximately 7 inches tall from the base to the top of the ladies hat, and is in excellent  condition
    but do have some factory flaws such as glaze pops, a little crazing, et cetera, which is very common to these pieces.
